As Percepções da Carreira Proteana e das Âncoras de Carreiras na Perspectiva de Jovens Profissionais

Resumo

Objetivo: Este artigo tem como objetivo avaliar as percepções da carreira proteana e âncoras de carreiras na perspectiva de jovens profissionais da geração milênio, considerando os desafios e atitudes do respectivo perfil enquanto à gestão de carreira.

Teorias: Utiliza-se como norteador deste trabalho as teorias sobre âncoras de carreira e carreira proteana.

Método: A pesquisa deu-se por survey composta por 123 questionários, utilizando os métodos de análise hierárquica de clusters e K-means cluster.

Resultados: Os resultados apresentaram a percepção favorável de práticas intrínsecas à satisfação e ao modelo autogerenciado de carreira, assim como apontaram como a preferência da âncora estilo de vida dos jovens profissionais.

Contribuições teóricas/ metodológicas: Este estudo se trata de uma exposição teórico-empírica acerca da relevância das organizações atuarem na gestão de carreira de jovens profissionais.

Contribuições gerenciais/ sociais: Os resultados desta pesquisa contribuem para uma reflexão de temas relacionados ao aprimoramento da gestão de carreiras de jovens profissionais.

Abstract

Objective: This article aims to evaluate the perceptions of the Protean career and career anchors from the perspective of young professionals of the millennium generation, considering the challenges and attitudes of the respective profile regarding career management.

Theories: Theories about career anchors and protean careers are used as a guide for this work.

Method: The research was carried out through a survey composed of 123 questionnaires, using the methods of hierarchical analysis of clusters and K-means cluster.

Results: The results showed a favorable perception of practices intrinsic to satisfaction and the self-managed career model, as well as pointed out as the preferred lifestyle anchor of young professionals.

Theoretical/ methodological contributions: This study is a theoretical-empirical exposition about the relevance of organizations working in the career management of young professionals.

Social/ management contributions: The results of this research contribute to a reflection on topics related to the improvement of the career management of young professionals.
